Why we took it
This is a case of the market punishing the Giants’ record and leaving New York near even money at home against a team coming off three straight losses. The Giants (3-1-1) lead the NFC East and have not lost at MetLife; Winston has found volume with Nabers and Likely, and the defense has generated turnovers in recent weeks. The Saints (1-4) are allowing close to 30 points per game and arrive with Kamara and Olave both questionable. Shough has piled up yards but the offense has not finished drives consistently and the team has turned the ball over in multiple games. At home the Giants can control the tempo with the run game and force New Orleans into third-and-long situations. Expect a one-score game where home field and the ability to force a turnover in the second half decide it. The number sits so close to even that any Giants price of −105 or better is the side to play.
